Memorial services for Ms. Sheila Yvonne Brown Griffin, age 41, of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Saturday, November 8, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Rejoice Ministries Church with Bro. Derwood Inlow and Bro. Johnny Barnett officiating. Visitation will be immediately following the service. Ms. Griffin was born in Sylvester, GA September 8, 1967 the daughter of Audrey Elene Carter of Bainbridge, GA and the late James Russell Brown, Sr. She moved to Decatur County two months ago from Tallahassee, FL. She worked as a waitress, attended church in Tallahassee, loved to help people, loved her family and was an extremely fun loving person. Sheila passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 from injuries received in an automobile accident. She is survived by her mother Audrey Elene Carter of Bainbridge, GA; two sons Michael James Cooke and Russell Eugene Griffin both of Tallahassee, FL; one brother James Russell Brown, Jr. of Tallahassee, FL; one sister Sharon Marie Harrison of Crawfordville, FL and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father.
