Sheila Marie Starling Phillips, 46, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017.The memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Mars Hill Church. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Memorial donations may be made to: Mars Hill Church, 491 Mars Hill Church Road, Climax, GA 39834.Sheila Marie Starling was born July 28, 1971 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of LeRoy Starling and Geneva Walden Starling. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1990 and a member of Old Mars Hill Church. Sheila married the love of her life, Farrell Lynn Phillips, in July of 1991 and raised her family in the community she loved.She collected anything Betty Boop, loved animals and enjoyed painting. Sheila was a true friend who would stand by you through thick and thin. Her shoulders were always available for you to lean on and she tried to help you make the most of every situation. Sheila's genuine smile was a reflection of the love she had in her heart for her family and friends, especially her children.Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Farrell L. Phillips; her children, Cheyenne Marie Phillips and Dakota Lynn Phillips; her siblings, Rita Leggett of Pelham, Leonard Donalson of Byron, Barbara Bowman of Harford, AL, Roger L. & Carlene Starling of Evon, AL, David Donalson & Margaret Tilden, Claudette Donalson & Ricky Parker, Kathy Givens, Earl Starling and LeRoy Starling, Jr., all of Bainbridge; several nieces and nephews; and her lifelong best friend, Reba Mobley. Sheila was preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Geneva Starling; her sister, Patricia Starling; and her nephew, Brandon Donalson.
