Shirley H. Dodson, 60, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at Memorial Hospital. The Graveside Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at Centerville United Methodist Church Cemetery near Blakely, GA with Rev. Milton Harrison officiating. Shirley was born March 18, 1949 in Blakely, GA, the daughter of William Lawrence Harper and Juanita Gowan Harper. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1967, a supervisor with the State of Florida with over twenty years of service and a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, Thomas Edward Branson, Jr. and his wife Stacy of Bonne Terre, MO; her two daughters, Terri Bolding and her husband Donny of Hosford, FL and Nikki Branson of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, Billy Jim Harper; and her two sisters, Joan Wade and Carolyn Burney McCain; and thirteen grandchildren.
