Shirley Harrell

Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Howard Harrell, age 69 of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Bainbridge Church of God with Rev. Dan Tomberlin and Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Gillead Baptist Church Cemetery with Lee Howard, Brandon Howard, Joey Howard, Lindsey Merritt, Jackie Vickers and Roy Howard, Jr. serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrell was born in Decatur County, GA the daughter of the now late Paul and Sarah Earnest Howard. She was a member of the Bainbridge Church of God. She was a CNA with Memorial Manor and Willow Ridge. She loved working, shopping and going to gospel sings. Mrs. Harrell is survived by one son Rodrick "Red" Harrell (close friend Sharon Vickers) of Bainbridge, GA; three brothers Roy Howard and wife Marcene, Bobby Howard and wife Frankie and Ricky Howard and wife Linda all of Bainbridge; three grandchildren Greg Harrell, Jason Harrell and Ashley Harrell; two great grandchildren McKynleigh Harrell and Emma Harrell. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rev. Kelly C. Harrell, one son Eugene Harrell and one daughter Delores Harrell.
