Shirley Hires

Shirley D. Hires, age 69, passed away on March 17, 2017. Shirley was born August 26, 1947 in Thomasville, Georgia, to Glenn Gainous and Dorothy Oliver Gainous. Shirley is survived by her boyfriend of 40 plus years, Terry Schweiss, and her 5 daughters, Doreen Trosper (Greg), Kathy Cassidy, Debbie Hires, Donna Hires, and Darla O\\'Banion. She has a sister, Wanda Hand (Phillip), and brothers, Glenn Gainous and Wade Gainous. Shirley has 9 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She has been blessed with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She was loved by many people. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 22, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, Georgia.
