Shirley Shevlin

Shirley Ann Shevlin, 72, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Seminole Manor. The funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mrs. Shevlin was born October 14, 1942 in Trenton, NJ, the daughter of William A. Geise and Fannie Burroughs Hartley Geise. She was a machine operator in New Jersey for many years and enjoyed playing solitaire, working crossword puzzles, and artwork with colored pencils. Shirley was always fond of her pets, especially her dog, Angel. Survivors include her companion of 31 years, James A. Richards, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; her children, Joseph Shevlin and his wife, Julie, Patricia Ann Shevlin, and Shirlene Ann McCabe and her husband Todd, all of Vermont; her sisters, Sharon McCracken of Trenton, NJ and Ruth Restuccio of Bordertown, NJ; her 7 grandchildren; and her 3 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
