Sonny Miles Yeats, 66, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jimmy Walden officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Ivey Funeral Home. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1969, and was a diesel mechanic. He dearly loved fishing. Sonny was a member of Unity Church of God in Iron City, GA.Survivors include his siblings, Richard L. Yeats and his wife, Lucy, of Bainbridge, GA, Shawn Y. Knighton of Greenville, GA, Cathy Y. Waddell and her husband, John, of Climax, GA, and David Yeats of Tallahassee, FL.
