Steven “Steve” Merrell Sellars, 68, passed away in Webster, Florida on January 31, 2025. Steven was born in Bainbridge, Georgia on August 1, 1956 to Oscar and Mabel Sellars. He enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycle, and loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his sons; Shane Sellars (Tiffany) of Webster, Florida; Cody Sellars of Floral City, Florida; daughter: Samantha Bryan (Jon) of Tarpon Springs, Florida; grandchildren: Molli, Christine, Harrison, Baby Lucas Sellars, Skylar, Lawrence, Charlotte, and Evangeline; sisters: Marlene “Lulu” Ingram of Bainbridge, Georgia and Faye Kosemund of Cleveland, Tennessee; brothers: Dwain Sellars of Bainbridge, Georgia, and Kyle Sellars of Thomasville, Georgia.
Services for Mr. Sellars will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025, 2:00 pm, in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox-Ivey Funeral Home, Bainbridge, Georgia. The Rev. Marty Brock will officiate. Interment will follow in Brinson Cemetery. The family will receive friends before the service, beginning at 1:00 pm.
