Sue Donley

Sue O. "Pat" Pierce Donley, 69, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Danny Shepard officiating. Interment will follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Chris Jenson, Quinton Lanier, Tim Smith, Joe Butler, Bruce Butler, Bryan Darley, and Brandon Conley serving as active pallbearers. Sue was born December 9, 1942 in Tallahassee, FL, the daughter of Lester Jack Pierce and Jimmie Lillian Butler Pierce. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1960, was the bookkeeper for Pierce Electric Co. for many years, and retired from Decatur County Health Department. She was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Sterling Donley of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter, Joanna Heard and her husband, Darryl, of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Derrick Crews and Emma Heard; and her great-grandchildren, Kaleb Crews and Makayli Crews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Jack Pierce, Jr.
