Sue Williams, age 78, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at her home in Cairo, Georgia. A memorial service will be held in her honor, 6:30 p.m., July 12, at Eastside Baptist Church in Cairo. The Reverends Wayne McDonald, Steve Wooten, and Andrew Donaldson will officiate. Ollie Sue Knight Williams was born December 18, 1937 in Flat Rock, Alabama, to Henry T. Knight and Lillie Mae Pope Knight. Sue was a talented home decorator. Sue was a member of Eastside Baptist Church, the Homemakers Sunday School Class, and the Keenagers Senior Adult group. She was a wonderful cook, who generously shared her baked goods. Sue deeply loved her daughter and grandchildren. Sue Williams will be sorely missed by the family and many friends she loved so much. Sue Williams is survived by her daughter, Norma Sue Breckenridge and husband, Wesley of Rincon, Georgia; sisters, Betty Mae Hines of Palm Bay, Florida and Clara Gail Scealf of Knoxville, Tennessee; granddaughter, Rebecca Taylor of Rincon, Georgia; and great-grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Bare and Hannah Sue Cogley. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Alan Taylor.
