Susanna Curiel

Susanna Curiel, age 55, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia. A family service will be held and Susanna will be laid to rest with her parents in South Florida.

Susanna Curiel was born March 7, 1971 in Immokalee, Florida, to Andres H. Curiel and Irene Estarda Curiel. She loved children and enjoyed her work at R.C.M.A., working in childcare. She enjoyed playing Spanish Bingo. A devastating hurricane hit where she lived in South Florida and the family made the decision to move to Georgia. They settled in Bainbridge, Georgia. Susanna was a jokester, full of fun and laughter. She loved her family deeply and enjoyed family get-togethers. Susanna will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

Susanna Curiel is survived by her children, Gina Curiel (Jose), Andrew Chapa, and Peter Chappa; brother, Andres H. Curiel, III; sister, Rachel Curiel, and grandchildren, Leah Rodriguez, Jose Rodriquez, and Andrew Chapa, Jr.
