Susie Weeks Tyus, 80, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, April 18, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Davidson officiating. Mrs. Tyus was born May 7, 1927 in Sneads, FL, the daughter of William Davis Weeks and Maggie Rabon Weeks. She was a homemaker and an independent believer of God. Survivors include three sons, John Davis Kemp of Tallahassee, FL, James Tyus of Brinson, GA, and Albert Tyus of Perry, FL; two daughters, Janice Elkins of Bainbridge, GA, and Donna Scott of Bainbridge, GA; a sister, Frances Cloud of Sneads, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
