Sybil Warren Brown, 70, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at her residence. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Open Arms Ministries with Pastor C. O. Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near Chattahoochee, FL with Justin Harrison, Andy Adkins, Dustin Dowdy, Ronny Lashley, Jamie Yount, Clay Wells, Bruce Hill, and Kevin Dowdy serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Brown was born December 17, 1940 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Roscoe Warren and Ruthie Lee King Warren. She was a member of Open Arms Ministries and a homemaker. Survivors include her sons, Tony Brown and his wife, Frances, of Chattahoochee, FL, Greg Brown and his wife, Kathy, of Chattahoochee, FL, and Obie "Mike" Brown of Bainbridge, GA; her daughters, Michelle Bruss of Whigham, GA and Chelsea Brown of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, Ron Warren of Jacksonville, FL; her sisters, Jean Brown of Sneads, FL and Sandy Thompson of Chattahoochee, FL; her fourteen grandchildren; and her thirteen great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Obie Lee Brown; her son, David Brown; and her grandsons, Jason Brown and Jessie Brown.
