Sylar Cole Smith, 18 day old infant of Christopher George Smith and Kjersten Nikkole Phillips Smith, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Friday, January 21, 2012 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. The graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 23, 2012 at Roselawn Memory Gardens with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts officiating. In addition to the parents, survivors include his paternal grandparents, Marie Griffin and her husband, Dale, of Donalsonville, GA, and Steve Smith and his wife, Teresa, of Eufaula, AL; his maternal grandmother, Amy Olds Phillips of Bainbridge, GA; his paternal great-grandparents, Marjorie Owens and her husband, Wilbur, of Donalsonville, GA, and Mary Alice Smith of Homerville, GA; his maternal great-grandparents, Nell Olds of Bainbridge, GA, and Larry and Linda Phillips, of Iron City, GA; his aunts, Melodie Lewis and her husband, Blaine, of Climax, GA, Micailah Phillips of Bainbridge, GA, and Christina Monday and her husband, Shannon, of Queen City, TX; and his uncle, Matthew Smith of Eufaula, AL. Sylar was preceded in death by his grandfather, Michael Phillips of Donalsonville.
