Tammie Adkins Mitchell, 53, of Brinson, GA, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018.The memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at Open Arms Ministries with Pastor C. Box 1528, Bainbridge, GA 39818.Tammie Ruth Adkins was born November 15, 1964 in Donalsonville, GA, the daughter of Martin Nathaniel Adkins, Jr. and Dollie Phillips Adkins. Tami earned an associates degree in radiology and worked as an ultrasound technician. She attended Open Arms Ministries.Survivors include her daughters, Andrea Mitchell of Brinson, GA and Brandy Brinson and her spouse, Maygan Bullard, of Sale City, GA; her grandchildren, Peightyn Madson and Spencer Brinson; her mother, Dollie P. Childree of Brinson, GA; her siblings, Andrew Adkins and his wife, Jeannie, and Rita Logue, all of Brinson; and her beloved cat, Tipsy. Tami was preceded in death by her father, Marty Adkins, and her nephew, Jeremy Huggins.
