Ted Tomlinson

Funeral Service for Mr. Ted Tomlinson, 44, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Vuncannon, Rev. Laddie DeRocco , and Rev. David Sorrow officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Greg Rentz, Eddie Alday, Joshua Godwin, and Dale Ellis serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Ted Tomlinson was born October 15, 1965 in Decatur County, GA to James and Inez Cook Tomlinson. He was a truck driver for Springhill Farms. Mr. Tomlinson loved driving his semi truck and loved talking about the Lord, he was always wanting to help others. He also enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of West Bainbridge Baptist Church. Mr. Tomlinson passed away Thursday, July 15, 2010 in Madison, FL. He is survived by his wife of 4 years, Donna Ellis Tomlinson of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Penny (William) Godwin of Whigham, GA and Candiss (Joe)Faircloth of Greenough, GA; parents, James (Sue) Tomlinson of Donalsonville, GA and Inez Tomlinson of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Nathan (Delores)Tomlinson of Hogansville, GA and Doug (Charlene)Tomlinson of Bainbridge, GA; four grandchildren, Joshua Godwin, Abigail Godwin, Zachary Godwin and Danny Brunswick and his long time friend, Rev. David Sorrow.
