Teresa Barfield McCormick, age 59, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. No public services are scheduled. Teresa was born March 16, 1962 in Cairo, Georgia to Willie Lamon Barfield and Elizabeth Ethel Nipper Barfield. Her mother preceded her in death. Teresa was very creative. She could take anything and craft it into something beautiful. She loved her family deeply and she loved animals. She especially loved dogs and cared for many. Teresa Barfield McCormick is survived by her husband, Thomas (Tommy) McCormick; daughters Angel Boutwell, Esther Smith, Samantha Carter, and Patty Darden; father Willie Lamon Barfield; siblings Timothy Barfield and Tracey Barfield; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
