Thomas Faircloth

Thomas Ervin "Tommy" Faircloth, 82 of Cuthbert Passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 in the Willson Hospice House. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Cuthbert First Baptist Church with Rev. Ben Crowdis and Rev. Marty Brock officiating. Interment will follow at 4:30 PM in the Delwood Baptist Church Cemetery near Bainbridge. Mr. Faircloth was born August 29, 1935 in Bainbridge, GA the son of the late Joseph Franklin Faircloth, Sr. and the late Nancy Jane Faircloth. He was a retired Georgia State Trooper 1st Class, an Air Force veteran, 32nd degree Mason, a member of the American Legion Post 30 and a member and Deacon of the Cuthbert First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Deloris Inez Faircloth of Cuthbert, 3 daughters, Tammy Faircloth of Panama City, FL, Shanda Ashley of Edison and Alicia (Mike) Varnum of Edison, 6 grandchildren, Michael Varnum, Amanda (Chandler) Farley, Keely (Scott) Caul, Patrick (fiancé Ashley Kimbrell) Andrews, Josh (Tiffany) Ashley and Hayden Ashley, 4 great grandchildren, Rosie Farley, Rylen Caul, Elle Caul and Andrew Ashley, a sister, Ophelia and a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cuthbert First Baptist Church renovation fund at P. O. Box 274 Cuthbert, GA 39840.
