Thomas Glisson

Mr. Thomas Jackson Glisson, Sr., age 81, passed away Monday, November 23, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, Georgia. Services for Mr. Glisson will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 27, 2020, graveside t Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, Georgia. The Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. Thomas Jackson Glisson, Sr. was born March 5, 1939 in Donalsonville, Georgia. His parents, T. Jarius Glisson and Ozzie B. Davis Glisson, have preceded him in death. Thomas proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. He was a talented welder. Mr. Glisson will be deeply missed. He is survived by his children, Ramona Livingston and husband, Sonny and Thomas Glisson, Jr. and wife, Jimmie, all of Bainbridge; sister, Lela Jean Moore of Jacksonville, Florida; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
