Timothy Peters

Mr. Timothy Shea Peters, age 56, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2022, at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. Services for Mr. Peters will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Rev. James Scarborough will officiate. Tim will be buried in Corinth Cemetery, Iron City, Georgia. Keith Faircloth, Trey Faircloth, Phillip Faircloth, Thomas Gatlin, Rick Collins, and Paul Hollingsworth will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Cadwell Chapel, Cox Funeral Home. Timothy Shea Peters was born May 29, 1966, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to Joe Franklin Peters and Patricia Ann Toole Peters. Tim was very outgoing and had a wonderful sense of humor. He never met a stranger. He deeply cared for others and loved to share a laugh with them. Tim enjoyed working at the Decatur-Seminole Service Center. Timothy Peters was an avid Georgia Bulldog and Bainbridge Bearcat fan. His greatest enjoyment was attending church. He said his Mama had always taken him to church. He loved singing and his favorite hymn was Coming Home. At the Don Duvall Home, Tim had many friends that he loved to help. Full of love and laughter, Timothy Peters will be deeply missed. Timothy Shea Peters is survived by his parents, Joe and Pat Peters of Bainbridge, Georgia and brother Randel Peters of Thomasville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his sister Tammy Elizabeth Peters.
