Mr. Tommy Ingram, 68, of Brinson, GA, passed away Friday, September 21, 2007 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, GA. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Candace McKibben officiating. Interment will follow at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery near Brinson, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service at Ivey Funeral Home. He graduated from Seminole County High School in 1957 and received a B.S. in Biology from Georgia State University. He was a retired supervisor with AT&T and a member of Mt. Gilead Free Will Baptist Church. He served on the board for Decatur County DFACS and the Bainbridge-Decatur County Arts Council. He was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Chambers Ingram. Survivors include his daughter, Lee Scott and husband Damon of Tallahassee, FL; a brother, Sid Ingram of Brunswick, GA; and two aunts, Martha Lambert of Iron City, GA and Wynelle Howard of Pelion, SC; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful dogs, Bozo and Pooch.
