Thomas Fredrick "Tommy" Smallwood, Jr., 63, of Haddock, GA and formerly of Lawrenceville, GA, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017.The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Attapulgus United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynn Hurley officiating. Interment will be at Attapulgus Cemetery.The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1971, and received an AA Degree from Middle Georgia College. He owned a Landscape and Golf Course Maintenance business in Lawrenceville, GA. He loved the outdoors, especially golfing, boating, and the beach. Tommy was a member of Marshallville United Methodist Church.Survivors include his daughter, Marissa Smallwood of Gainesville, GA; his son, Thomas F. "Trey" Smallwood, III of Lawrenceville, GA; his parents, T. Fredrick and Janie Smallwood of Bainbridge, GA; and his sisters, Sue Smallwood Cooper of Gallatin, TN and Betty Smallwood Hotchkiss of Haddock, GA.
