Virginia Boyd-Houston

Memorial Services for Ms. Virginia Ann Ginger Boyd Houston, 63, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM EST at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with her family presiding. Ms. Houston was born November 11, 1945 in Decatur County, GA to the now late Clyde and Vera Jane Hardy Boyd. She has lived back in Bainbridge for the past 10 years and was of Baptist faith. She was a seamstress and also worked as a housekeeper, store manager, and day care worker. She was a Christian lady, would help anyone, and enjoyed listening to preaching and gospel music. Ms. Houston passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at her residence in Bainbridge, GA. She is survived by her daughter; Brenda Jane Hull of Ft. White, FL; three sons, Sidney Ray Jenkins and Steve Clyde Jenkins both of Bainbridge, and Shannon Jenkins of Ft. White, FL; four sisters, Emma Jean Miller and Margie Vaughn of Wetumpka, AL, Sara Domino of Warner Robbins, GA, and Mary Ruth Gibbs of Cairo, GA; one brother, David Boyd of Missouri; three grandchildren, Tiffany Andrews of Prattville, AL, Shawn Sanders of Washington, and Shannon K. Jenkins of Ft. White, FL; and two great grandchildren, Nathan Andrews and Dustin Sanders. Ms. Houston was preceded in death by her parents.
