Virginia Ezell

Funeral Services for Mrs. Mary Virginia Alday Ezell, 79, of Grady County, GA will be held Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Milton Harrison officiating. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery with Darron Ezell, Jason Smith, Daniel Ezell, Tyler Merrill, Josh Merrill, and Michael Ezell serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Ezell was born October 3, 1929 in Doerun, GA to the now late John L. and Hester Lee Lindsey Alday. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. She had lived most all of her life in this area and loved reading and taking care of her children. Mrs. Ezell passed away at her residence in Grady County Sunday, April 19, 2009. She is survived by three sons; Bill (Renee) Ezell of Tallahassee, FL, Henry Ezell of Tallahassee, FL, and Roger (Lynn Clenney) Ezell of Cairo, GA; four daughters; Brenda E. Merrill of Wewahitchka, FL, Ellen E. Herman of Tallahassee, FL, Debbie Ezell of Cairo, GA, and Patricia Ezell of Tallahassee, FL; one brother; John (Susie) Alday of Woodville, FL; sixteen grandchildren; twenty four great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Ezell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, H.L. Ezell; son, James Ezell; sisters, Cathaline Spooner and Elouise Norris; and grandson, Hunter Revell.
