Virginia Harrell

Virginia Christine Harrell, 93, of Vada, GA, passed away Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 21, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Conrad Salter, Pastor Billy Joe Butler, and Pastor Steve Poppell officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with her grandsons and great-grandsons serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Harrell was born January 30, 1920 in Bainbridge, GA, the daughter of Adam Clark Sellers and Eliza Bell Harrell Sellers. She was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, and a homemaker. She and her husband, Levy Harrell, co-founded Vada Builders in 1954. Survivors include her sons, Ronnie Harrell and his wife, Jan, of Thomasville, GA, Levy L. Harrell, Jr. of Vada, GA, Bobby Jack Harrell and his wife, Brenda, of Bainbridge, GA, Gary Harrell and his wife, Ann, of Vada, GA, and Hugh Harrell and his wife, Dawn, of Leesburg, GA; her sister, Billie Merle Eidson of Thomasville, GA; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Levy L. Harrell; her brother, Adam C. Sellers; and her sisters, Eunice Darley and Catheryn Soski.
