Virginia Henderson

Virginia Snider Henderson, 83, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. The graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Oak City Cemetery with Rev. Donna Bevels and Dr. Gerald A. Little officiating. Mrs. Henderson was born June 9, 1927 in Dublin, GA, the daughter of Kirby Morrison Snider and Bessie Wallace Johnson. She was a graduate of Dublin High School. She and her husband, Tab, opened Henderson's Grocery in 1962 and operated it for over twenty years. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Henderson was preceded in death by her husband, Tab Henderson, and her son, Alvin T. Henderson, Jr. Survivors include her son, Bob Henderson and his wife Carole of Bainbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Allison H. Godwin and her husband Jimbo, Kyle Henderson and his wife Kiley, Tab Henderson, III and his wife Lindsey, and Ellen H. Munson and her husband Cory; and her great-grandchildren, Carly Godwin, Jase Godwin, Cole Henderson, and Betty Henderson.
