Mrs. Virginia Crocker Keis, 94, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Robert Baggs officiating. Interment will follow at Oak City Cemetery. Mrs. Keis was born November 8, 1912 in Bainbridge, GA to the late Robert Reason Crocker and Ethel Brady Crocker. She graduated from Leon High School in Tallahassee, FL and from Florida State College for Women. She was a homemaker and attended First Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman D. Keis. Survivors include a niece, Suzanne Davis Alley of Bainbridge, GA; and two nephews, Phil Davis of Bainbridge, GA and Julian C. "Doc" Davis of Spartanburg, SC.
