Vivian Wharton

Vivian Y. Wharton, 88, a native of West Virginia and a resident of Daphne passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017. Mrs. Wharton was a retired administrative assistant for the office of United States Senator Jennings Randolph. She was devoted to God, the church and her family. She is survived by two sons: Glenn (Diane) Wharton of Gulf Shores, AL, Andrew (Gloria) Wharton of Huntsville, AL; five grandchildren, Nathan, Lori, Amy, Ryan, Megan and five great grandchildren, Kyra, Cadence, Sydney, Xander, and Sophie Rose. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at the Spanish Trail Baptist Church, Daphne, AL with Rev. Jimmy Dukes officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Sylvania Cemetery, Bainbridge, Georgia.
