W. Calvin Fleming, 58, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at his residence. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2011 at Attapulgus Baptist Church with Rev. Jack House and Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating. Interment will follow at Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery with James Spears, Donald Boyett, Lex McMillon, David Allen Sims, Dennis Smith, and Earl Boyett serving as active pallbearers and the employees of BASF will serve as honorary pallbearers. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1970, and a graduate of Bainbridge College with an Associates Degree. He worked with BASF for over twenty years and his home church was Attapulgus Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Nix Fleming. Survivors include his wife, Debbie N. Fleming of Bainbridge, GA; his son, Michael Fleming stationed in Portsmouth, NH; his daughters, Melanie Fleming Feliz and her husband, Elhoim, of Lawrenceville, GA and Heather Elizabeth Fleming of Bainbridge, GA; his father, Bill Fleming of Attapulgus, GA; his brother, Edward L. Fleming and his wife, Dora W., of Fayetteville, GA; and his granddaughter, McKale Fleming of Tallahassee, FL.
