Wade Gainous

Wade Oliver Gainous "Swade" , 55, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away February 8, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 9, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Glenn Clisby Gainous, Sr. and Dorothy Sue Oliver Gainous. Wade was a life-long resident of Jacksonville, Fl. He worked as a landscaper. In his spare time, Wade enjoyed fishing, watching football, telling jokes, and spending time with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley D. Hires. Wade is survived by his daughters, Savannah Gainous (Kyle Kennedy) and Cynthia Gainous Fleetwood (Matthew); his grandchildren, Riley Kennedy, Waylen Fleetwood and Canyon Fleetwood; his brother, Glenn Gainous, Jr. (Alice); his sister, Wanda Gainous Hand (Phillip); his uncle, Maynard "Curly" Gainous (Virginia); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A service in his memory will be held at 2:00 pm. Saturday, March 30, 2019, in Greenwood Cemetery, Cairo, Georgia.
