Waldine Scott

Waldine Barber Scott, 88, of Brinson, GA, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Donalsonville Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel and will conclude in the chapel. Interment will be at Brinson Cemetery with the employees of Scott Farms serving as active pallbearers. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mrs. Scott was born December 27, 1926 in Brinson, GA, the daughter of Everett I. Barber and Bertha Lee Weddington Barber. She was a graduate of Bainbridge High School and a dedicated homemaker. Waldine was owner of Scott Farms and she enjoyed her flowers, her chickens, her garden, her cat, Callie, but mostly she enjoyed her family. Survivors include her son, Terril Scott of Brinson, GA; daughter in law, Sandra Scott of Brinson, GA, and Todd Collins of Brinson, GA; her brother, Thurman Barber of Brinson, GA, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Scott; and her siblings, Christine Boyett and Roy Barber.
