Wallace Shrader

Wallace G. Shrader, 90, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at Memorial Manor Nursing Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 8, 2010 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Medley and Rev. Harold Burrell officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Cairo, GA. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Shrader was born May 30, 1919 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of Terrell Shrader and Helen Spear Shrader. He was a U. S. Army veteran of World War II, a retired representative with Independent Life and Accident Insurance Company, and a member of First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by two wives, Lilyan S. Shrader and Helen Lane Shrader. Survivors include three children, Mary Lane Fudge and her husband James of Colquitt, GA, Nora Lane Knowles and her husband David of Gulfport, MS, and Sadi Hasona of Bainbridge, GA; two brothers, Clive Shrader of Miami, FL and Barnard Shrader of Warrenton, VA; eight grandchildren, Jennifer F. Player, Curt Fudge, John Fudge, David Fudge, Courtney Knowles, Michael Knowles, Hema Hasona, and Nour Hasona; and four great-grandchildren, Emily Player, Kate Player, Daniel Fudge, and James Fudge.
