Walter Blocker

Walter M. Blocker, 52, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. Services will be private. Mr. Blocker was born July 10, 1958 in Bainbridge, the son of Nolan Blocker and Eileen Johnson Blocker. He was in the construction industry. Mr. Blocker was preceded in death by his daughter Barbara Jean Garnto; his mother, Eileen Blocker; his sister Georgia Teresa Joiner; and his brother Thomas Wayne Blocker. Survivors include his wife Cindy White; his father, Nolan Blocker of Bainbridge, GA; his daughters Courtney Blocker Kehoe of Brunswick, GA and Brandy Blocker of Colquitt, GA; his brothers, Richard Nolan Blocker of Bainbridge, GA and John Earl Blocker of Des Allemands, LA; his sisters Peggy Mathews and her husband Steve of Ellijay, GA, Shirley Weste of Grandisle, LA, Kathy Cook and her husband Tommy Smith of Chattahoochee , FL, Linda McMillan and her husband Hayes of Bainbridge, GA and Sarah Clinton and her husband Timothy of Bainbridge, GA; several grandchildren.
