Mr. Wayne Thomas Shepard, 61, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Herriman and Rev. Joe Brinkley officiating. Interment will follow at West Bainbridge Cemetery with Lee Boyett, Lee Isler, Gary Brown, Lamar Harrell, Charles Rathel, and Jerry Brown. Mr. Shepard was born January 11, 1946, in Dothan, AL, to the late Elbert Bowen Shepard and Ruth Brackin Shepard. He was a truck driver and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Shepard Fields. Survivors include his wife, Marian Isler Shepard of Bainbridge, GA; a son, Brad Shepard and wife Rebecca of Richardson, TX; a brother, David Shepard and wife Carolyn of Bainbridge, GA; three sisters, Betty Jo Shepard of Vancouver, WA, Terry S. Bell and husband Benny of Bainbridge, GA; and Debbie Shepard of Bainbridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews.
