Jack Rish, 76, of Albany, GA, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, GA. The graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at Pine Forest Baptist Church Cemetery with Minister Wayne Clemons officiating. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mr. Rish was born September 26, 1934 in Bluffton, GA, the son of Wesley Rish and Lummie Lou Brooks Rish. He was a graduate of Edison High School and the University of Georgia. He was a retired sales clerk and a member of Providence Baptist Church in Vienna, VA. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Beth Jackson Rish of Albany, GA; his sons, Wesley J. Rish and his wife, Cindy, of Allentown, PA and Luke Rish of Charlotte, NC; his daughter, Karen Gamache and her husband, David, of Stewartstown, PA; his brother, Jim Rish and his wife, Judy, of Fern Park, FL; his grandchildren, Miriam Gamache, Claire Gamache, Amélie Gamache, and Caroline Gamache; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jerry Rish.
