Mr. Willard Allen Sholar, age 82, of Climax, Georgia, passed away very early Sunday morning, November 16, 2025, at Archbold Living in Cairo, Georgia. Arrangements are incomplete and will be available on Monday.
Willard Allen Sholar was born August 10, 1943 in Bainbridge, Georgia, to Jody Allen Sholar and Frances Ola Clinton Sholar. He grew up in Hollywood, Florida. Willard worked in construction for 60 years. He love the work and did a fine job. Mr. Sholar was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Whigham, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his best friend and companion for 32 years, Janie L. Hawthorne, and his parents. He is survived by his sisters, Julie (Doug) Bedell of Ft. Myers, Florida, Sarah Bearden (Terry) of Ocala, Florida, and Mary Ann Sholar of Climax, Georgia.
