William Ellis Collins, 79, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Monday, December 7, 2015, at Bainbridge Healthcare.A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel. Collins and Lizzie Brock Collins. He retired from Engelhard after over 25 years of service. William enjoyed all the aspects of country living, especially fishing and walking around the family farm. He loved listening to country music and old gospel hymns.Survivors include his wife, Barbara Chavez Collins, of Valdosta, GA; sons, Kevin Collins and his wife, Eve, of Bainbridge, and Jeff Collins and his wife, Lisa, of Valdosta; daughters, Brenda Dodd and her husband, Richard, of Jacksonville FL, and Teresa Frazier and her husband, Brian, of Clayton, NC; siblings, Emogene Feldt and her husband, Eugene, of Seneca, SC, Joseph W. Collins and his wife, Elizabeth, of Knoxville, TN, Glenda Krabbe and her husband, Robert, of Seneca, SC, and Ronnie L. Collins and his wife, Frances, of Bainbridge; his 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Bryan Ellis Collins.
