William Day

Mr. William (Bob) Avery Day, age 76, passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, September 7, at the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Pastor Tim Mahler will officiate. William (Bob) Avery Day was born February 19, 1941, in Quincy, Florida, to A.V. Day and Rucell Bullock Day. His parents preceded him in death. Bob worked many years at I.T.T. Automotive Electric Company. He married the love of his life, Nora Harrell Day. He and Nora have lived all of their married life in Bainbridge. They were married for 50 years. He attended the Bainbridge Church of Christ. Bob loved to fish and loved to eat fried fish. He enjoyed Bainbridge High School football. Mostly, he was about his family. Bob Day will be greatly missed by his many friends and loving family. William (Bob) Avery Day is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nora Harrell Day; children, Dana Pollock and husband, Jason of Thomasville, Georgia, and Kimberly Day of Bainbridge, and his sister, Betty Hutto and husband, Cliff of Cleveland, Georgia.
