Mr. William Joseph Foy, age 70, passed away Saturday, November 17, 2012, at his home in Thomasville, Georgia. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Pine Park Baptist Church in Cairo. Rev. Gordon Cloud will officiate. Larry Beckwith, Michael Madden, Trever Sellers, Bob Sellers, Edward Thomas, and Markus Russell will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in Pine Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 1:00 p.m. William Joseph Foy was born December 28, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan to William T. and Menta Pike Foy. William Foy was a friendly person; always lively and joking. For 30 years he worked as a conductor and brakeman for the Conrail Railroad. Mr. Foy served in the United States Army. He married his wife, Barbara, June 6, 1997. William Foy is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Morrison Foy of Thomasville; children, William C. and wife, Deb Foy of Michigan, Steven A. Foy of East Point, Michigan, Tammy Everette Manning of Thomasville, Kenne Morrison of San Francisco, California, Rebecca Roberts of Pelham, Georgia, and Bobbie Jo Wilson of Mobile, Alabama; his mother, Menta E. Foy; grandchildren, Steven, Lindsey, Jenna, Parker, McKinney, Blake, Ashley, Stephanie, Lisa, Casey, Andrea, Jasmine, Chad, and Jayden; great-grandchild, Trip; brother, Michael and wife, Betty Foy of Tennessee; sisters, Susan and husband, Dave McKinney of Michigan and Theresa and husband, Mark Harvey of Alabama; sisters-in-law, Willie May Madden of Cairo, Georgia, Carol Moore of Cairo, Georgia, and Polly McRainey of Mississippi.
