William Howell

Mr. William T. Howell, Sr., age 64, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015, at his home in Bainbridge, Ga. Services for Mr. Howell will be held 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 6, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Grubbs will officiate. Rusty Jackson, Terry Sconyers, Allan Gunn, Keith Lovering, Johnny Atkinson, and Martin Castro will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Climax, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour before the service, beginning at 2:00 p.m. William Tillman Howell was born April 23, 1950 in Malone, Florida. His parents, Tillman Howell and Ressie Murl King Howell, have both preceded him in death. He lived in the Bainbridge area most of his life. Mr. Howell was an outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish. He especially loved to go frogging. William especially enjoyed his grandchildren. William Howell will be sorely missed by the family and friends he loved so much. William Tillman Howell, Sr. is survived by his wife, Kaye Howell of Bainbridge; children, William Howell, Jr. and wife, Betty Jo of Bainbridge, Shannon Howell of Donalsonville, Georgia, Darren Howell and Lela Howell, both of Bainbridge; sisters and brothers, Elise Atkinson and husband, Roger of Donalsonville, Eloise Lovering of Colquitt, Georgia, James Howell and wife, Ocie of Vernon, Florida, and Robert (Durl) Howell, and wife, Janice of Donalsonville; grandchildren, Michelle and Christian Howell, Logan and Connor Whitaker, Melissa Gunn, Christian Parker, and Stevens Lyons; and great-grandchildren, Brielle and Isaiah Howell. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers and sisters, Jean Weatherton, Sue Webb, Faye Howell, Billy Wayne Howell, Jimmy Howell, and Edward Howell.
