William Josey

Mr. William Daniel (Danny) Josey, age 64, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, in Memorial Hospital, Bainbridge, Georgia. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Josey on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 3:00pm in the Cadwell Chapel of Cox Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour before the service. William Daniel Josey was born July 28, 1953, in Bainbridge, to William Cecil Josey and Faye Buie Griffin. He worked in the floor and tile installation business. Danny lived in Bainbridge all of his life. He loved his family and will be deeply missed by his many, many friends. Danny Josey is survived by his children, Dena Dixon and husband, Jamey of Cairo, Georgia and Ginny Raker of Monticello, Florida; his mother, Faye Deloris Griffin of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Karlee, Payne and Zane Dixon and Hyde and Willa Kate Raker; two sisters, Cinda Butler and Kathy Chapman; and best friend of 48 years and recent caregiver, Jean Josey.
