William Lavoie

Mr. William Fred (Buck) Lavoie, Jr., age 72, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020, at Memorial Manor, Bainbridge, Georgia. William Fred (Buck) Lavoie, Jr. was born May 22, 1947 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. His parents, William Fred Lavoie, Sr. and Frances Barraclough Lavoie Smith, have preceded him in death. Buck served in the United States Navy aboard the U.S.S. Saratoga. He was a talented carpenter and builder. Hunting and fishing were his passions. Buck Lavoie will be deeply missed by his family and many, many friends. William Fred (Buck) Lavoie, Jr. is survived by his children, Emma Newcomb and husband, Danny of Bunker Hill, West Virginia, Frank James Lavoie of Bainbridge, and William Calvin Lavoie of Bainbridge; his ex-wife and mother of his children, Jo Ann Smith of Bainbridge; his sisters and brothers, Dale Smith, Bobby Smith, Mary Lou Vynorius, and Nancy Fraser; and grandchildren, Travis, Brooke, and Drew Hackney, and Sarah Lavoie.
