Willie Howell Jeter, 99, of Bellevue, NE, formerly of Climax, GA, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 in Papillion, NE. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 15, 2010 at Climax United Methodist Church with Rev. Wayne McDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Ben Lapke, Brian Skarda, Gary King, Gary King, Jr., Jeff Jeter, and Greg Toole serving as active pallbearers. Mrs. Jeter was born May 18, 1911 in Dooly County, GA, the daughter of James Jefferson Howell and Carrie Elizabeth Riggins Howell. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Haygood Jeter, Jr. and her daughter, Lillian J. Hunter. Survivors include her daughter, Lucy G. More of Bellevue, NE; her grandchildren, Kathy Bull and her husband Bill of San Antonio, TX, Cynthia Skarda and her husband Kevin of Papillion, NE, and Sharon Hughbanks and her husband Greg of Bellevue, NE; and her great-grandchildren, Sarah Skarda, Brian Skarda, Katheryn Skarda, Alison Lapke, Claire Lapke, Benjamin Lapke, Rachel Bull and Michael Bull.
