Funeral Services for Mr. Lamar King, age 60 of Bainbridge, GA, will be held Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Oak City Cemetery with Charles King, Rusty King, Dusty King, Josh Trawick, Dewayne King and Earnest Ray King serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Friday, Saptember 4, 2009 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cox - Ware Funeral Home. Mr. King has lived in Decatur County for the past fifty years moving from Malone FL. He was of the Baptist faith and was a farmer. He enjoyed fishing, camping and mechanicing. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Callie Josey King of Bainbridge; three daughters: Loretta Ezell (the late Donald), Teresa Trawick and husband Ralph and Christy Ann King all of Bainbridge; one son: William Lamar King, Sr. and wife Nancy of Reynoldsville; six grandchildren Ashley and Josh Trawick, Reba Grubbs, Christina Ezell, William Lamar King, Jr. and Tiffany Nichole King; two great grandchildren Madison Trawick and Ciara Grubbs; one uncle Gene Chambliss; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded by death by his parents.
