Wilma Cutchens

Wilma Barfield Cutchens, 82, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2008 at Morningside Baptist Church with Dr. Austin Phillips and Rev. Leon VanLandingham officiating. Mrs. Cutchens was born January 25, 1926 in Whigham, GA, the daughter of Gordon Barfield and Annie Long Barfield. She was employed as a clerk with Belk's department store and a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim Cutchens. Survivors include her daughters, Patty C. Cannington and husband Ed of Lumpkin, GA and Janice C. Cooper of Bainbridge, GA; her son, Jimmy Cutchens and wife Beverly of Bainbridge, GA her sister, Betty Shores of Bainbridge, GA; her brother, George Barfield of Thomasville, GA; seven grandchildren, Dana C. Bryant, Christi C. Murray, Zac West, Kim Brown and Brandon Cooper all of Bainbridge, GA, Trey Cannington of Richmond Hill, GA and Jill C. Bennett of Lumpkin, GA; and ten great-grandchildren.
