Wilma Goodwin

Wilma Laverne Smith Goodwin passed from this life on May 22, 2014 at her home in Dallas, Texas. Laverne was born on September 16, 1932 to Thomas Edward Smith and Edna Earl Nix Smith (Edna Cochran, Bainbridge) in Eldorendo, Georgia. Laverne is preceded in death by her husband Dan, who passed away in January 1996. The oldest of seven siblings, she was preceded in death by Harold Smith, Ruth Smith Shuford, and Carl Smith, and is survived by Jim Smith, Johnny Smith, and Carolyn Smith Welch. She has 2 daughters, Dana Tomberlin, (Mike) and Cheryl Potter (Les) of Dallas and eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
