Windell Hall, 64, of Climax, GA, passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Miller County Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Climax Baptist Church with Pastor Steve Poppell, Dr. Kenneth Cloud, and Mr. Billy Hudson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Mark Heard, Tracey Horne, Jeff Heard, Ricky Inlow, John Bullard, Beau Boyette, Greg Hurt, and Randall Logue serving as active pallbearers. The deacons of Climax Baptist Church and the employees of HCW - Hall's Cabinet Works will be serving as honorary pallbearers. Windell was born October 11, 1946 in Bainbridge, GA, the son of Leslie Hall and Floy Carter Hall. He was a graduate of Bainbridge High School, Class of 1964. Windell owned and operated HCW - Hall's Cabinet Works, Inc. for over 45 years and was actively involved at Climax Baptist Church serving as a deacon and chairman of the Long-Range Planning Committee, the Finance Committee, and the Sound Committee. He was on the board of directors for the Lighthouse Children's Home and had a lifelong history in gospel music, singing for 12 years in the Spring Hill Quartet and presently with the Disciples. Survivors include his wife of over 45 years, Mary Jane Hall of Climax, GA; his sons, Chip Hall and his wife, Patty, and Chris Hall and his wife, Laura, all of Bainbridge, GA; his brothers, Vance Hall and his wife, Barbara, Ronnie Hall, Bruce Hall, and Curtis Hall and his wife, Sandy; his sisters, Elaine Inlow, Linda Owens and her husband, William, Marie Jennette and her husband Jeff, and Lisa Brown and her husband Lance; his grandchildren, Stevie, AnnaMarie, and Abbey Jane; and his in-laws, Inez "Granny" Heard, Jerry and Jeannie Heard, Cathy and Mark Nelson, David and Teresa Heard, and Carolyn Heard.
