Yeoma Wilson Elliott, 92, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Memorial Hospital. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at Bainbridge Church of God with Rev. Jaime Rivera officiating. Interment will be at Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery near Colquitt, GA. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com . Mrs. Elliott was born April 12, 1921 in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of Jack Wilson and Zillie Hatcher Wilson. She was a retired seamstress for Jack Winter, Inc. and was a member of Bainbridge Church of God. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Elliott Conger and her husband, James W. Conger, Jr., of Bainbridge, GA; her granddaughter, Ava Joy Conger of Athens, GA; her great-niece, Brenda Pollock and her husband, Marc, of Bainbridge, GA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ernest Troy Elliott, John Henry Brown, John Harbor Wells, and Luther Strickland; and her siblings, Byron Wilson, Lois Glass, Ruth Herndon, Minnie Cross, Mary Wilson, and Rosa Lee Wilson.
