Funeral Services for Mrs. Zada Elizabeth Vickers Wilson, 53, of Bainbridge, GA will be held Sunday, June 21, 2009 at Cox-Ware Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memory Gardens with Michael Meredith, Jamie Cobb, Corey Vickers, Matthew Vickers, Tyler Childree, and Kevin Vickers serving as active pallbearers. Josh Vickers will serve as honorary pallbearer. Visitation will be held Saturday, June 20, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Cox-Ware Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Wilson was born July 5, 1955 in Dothan, AL to Lala Jean Pelham Vickers of Dothan, AL and the now late Royce Vickers. She moved to Decatur County 5 years ago from Donalsonville, GA. She was a former Lioness, loved her family, and was an avid FSU fan. She of the Baptist Faith and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson married David August 4, 1978. Mrs. Wilson passed away Thursday, June 18, 2009 at Memorial Hospital in Bainbridge, GA. She is survived by her husband, David Edward Wilson of Bainbridge, GA; one son, Kristopher David Wilson of Colquitt, GA; one daughter, Brandie Nicole Wilson of Dothan, AL; her mother; two sisters, Neva Childree and Lynn Vickers, both of Slocomb, AL; two brothers, Andy Vickers of Headland, AL and Michael Vickers of Malvern, AL; and seven grandchildren, Erika Wilson, Matthew Meredith, Brandon Wilson, Haley Wilson, Hunter Wilson, Aaron Forman, and Seth Carroll. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her father, and her brother, Jimmy Vickers.
